CAB Hosts Spring Activities for Students

Bored? Whether it’s cooking your own pizza, watching the Blue Man Group or white water rafting, the Campus Activity Board (CAB) has you covered for the spring 2010 semester.

CAB booked some comedians to keep you amused this spring. If you’re looking for a laugh, come to one of the comedy events, which are held at 8 p.m. in Bazarsky Lecture Hall:

 February 9 – Ryan Conner

 February 23 – Ryan Reiss, Rachel Feinstein, and Bernadette Pauley

 March 30 – Paul Miller

 April 13 – Mike E. Winfield

Take a break between your Thursday classes. Things for Thursday are held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Wakehurst lobby with the exception of the Del’s Lemonade and Photo Booth activity held on the Wakehurst Lawn:

 February 4 – Decorate Valentine’s Day Cookies

 February 18 – Make Your Own Pizza

 March 4 – Mini Fish Aquariums

 March 25 – Spin Art Grocery Bags

 April 8 – Airbrush Tattoo Artists

 April 22 – Del’s Lemonade & Photo Booth

CAB has a few more ski trips left this season. All Outdoor CAB events depart from the Rodgers parking lot:

 February 13 – Ski Trip to Loon Mountain, N.H. Departs at 4:30 a.m. and arrives at 7:30 p.m. Registration begins Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 at 8 a.m. and costs $5.

 February 20 – Ski Trip to Bretton Woods, N.H. Departs at 4 a.m. and arrives at 8 p.m. Registration begins Monday, Feb. 15, 2010 at 8 a.m. and costs $5.

 February 27 – Ski Trip to Okemo, V.T. Departs at 4 a.m. and arrives at 8 p.m. Registration begins Monday, Feb. 22, 2010 at 8 a.m. and costs $5.

 April 24 – Crab Apple White Water Rafting. Departs at 8 a.m. and arrives at 9 p.m. Registration begins Monday, Apr. 5, 2010 at 8 a.m. and costs $15.

Want to get out of town? Travel events all leave from Rodgers parking lot:

 February 7 – Yawgoo Valley. Departs at 9 a.m. and arrives at 1p.m. Registration begins Monday, Jan. 25, 2010 at 8 a.m. and costs $5.

 February 21 – New York City & West Side Story. Departs at 8 a.m. and arrives at 10 p.m. Registration begins Monday, Feb. 8, 2010 at 8 a.m. and costs $10.

 March 21 – Blue Man Group. Departs at 8 a.m. and arrives at 6 p.m. Registration begins Monday, Mar. 15, 2010 at 8 a.m. and costs $5.

 April 18 – Martha’s Vineyard. Departs at 8 a.m. and arrives at 8 p.m. Registration begins Tuesday, Apr. 6, 2010 at 8 a.m. and costs $5.

Don’t forget the SnoBall Semi-Formal on Feb.6, 2010 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on the first floor of Ochre Court. Tickets are currently on sale, $10 for Salve students, $20 for guests.
