Remember the time last year when things got wild on Salve Regina’s campus?
Like really wild…
There were bright flashing lights everywhere, and a lot of streamers being thrown around. Electronic dance music was blasting the ceilings off in Rodgers Rec Center, air horns were everywhere in the crowd and the sound of screaming girls could be heard for miles.
Everyone was decked out in bright and bold neon outfits and body paint, no one stopped dancing until the night was over, and the evening seemed to get better and better as time went on.
Ya, that night! The night when GrooveBoston took Salve’s campus by storm, giving us a night that we will never forget.
Well on April 26th and 9pm, GrooveBoston is returning to Salve for round two, and the word on what a great night this will be is spreading across campus like “WILDFIRE”.
Well, if you are new on campus this year and don’t know exactly who GrooveBoston is, or what to expect.
GrooveBoston will rock your soul to the point that will make you rave about it for days after. Their goal is to create crazy dance parties by combining huge scale productions with in- house talent, led by an extreme touring crew with out of this world audio, staging, lighting and special effects professionals in the industry.
Expect to have a great time with your friends and plan on meeting someone new. Everyone brings their friends from home, twin sisters and significant others so a great time is promised.
Expect crazy dance music, bright lights, ridiculous costumes like banana suites, or maybe it will be a different fruit this year, but expect the unexpected.
Tickets are only $10, and go on sale Monday, April 8th at 8am in the office of Student Activities located in Wakehurst.
GrooveBoston 2013 at Salve is expected to be better than 2012 so you do not want to miss out on the opportunity to attend. Take a look at how some excited Salve students are about attending GrooveBoston 2013.
