5 CAB Events to Check Out Before Holiday Break

Term papers, group projects and exams may be dominating your calendar for the next few weeks, but that doesn’t mean you can’t take time to schedule in some fun.  Mosaic has made a list of five Campus Activity Board events that you should squeeze into your agenda before fall semester comes to a close.

1. Concert- Levi Stephens: Are you looking to get out of your dorm room on a Friday night? Grab a group of friends and head over to Ochre Court on Nov. 15th for a musical performance by Levi Stephens. From 9pm-12am, Stephens will perform a mixture of R&V, soul rock and gospel music.

2. CAB Travel’s Radio City Christmas Spectacular: Have you ever wanted to see the Radio City Rockettes in action? This is your opportunity! For just $25, you can spend the day in New York City while soaking up all the joys of the holiday season.  The bus will depart campus at 8:30am and return at 11:30pm. Tickets go on sale in the office of student activities at 8:30am starting November 13th. Make sure you set your alarm early, this event will sell out fast!

3.  Things for Thursday’s Stuff a Bear: Don’t miss this favorite Things for Thursday event on November 21st! You and your friends can head over to Wakehurst between 11am and 3pm to stuff an animal for free!

4.  Friday Night Live’s Holiday Party: Head to Wakehurst Student Center on December 6th to see the mansion transformed into a holiday spectacular! Horse and carriage rides, holiday treats and games are just a few of the activities that students can look forward to on this fabulous night.  The party will run from 8pm-12am.

5. Cab Travel La Salette Shrine: Looking for a last minute holiday activity to get you through finals week? For $5, you and your friends can travel to the La Salette shrine in Attleboro, MA, where the sky is lit up by more than 300,000 lights! The bus will depart campus at 3pm and return by 11pm. Tickets will be available in the office of student activities at 8:30am starting Wednesday, Nov. 20th.
