Prior to the Lakers game against the Portland Trail Blazers, Lakers president Magic Johnson has announced he is stepping down. Johnson, who is considered one of the greatest Lakers players ever, has had trouble in his stint as president. After signing Lebron James the Lakers failed to make the playoffs in what was a disappointing season. In his interview, Johnson said, “Somebody’s going to have to tell my boss (Jeanie Buss) because I knew I couldn’t be face-to-face and tell her.” It’s not yet reported on who the Lakers will replace Johnson with as president.
