Do you identify as being gay, straight, lesbian, bisexual or transgender? Chances are, you do- there are really no other options!
The Salve Regina University G.S.L.B.A invites you to become a member of an organization that seeks to promote equality and diversity among all sexualities on the SRU campus. Believe it or not, one out of every 10 males and one out of every 25 females identify as having a sexuality other than straight.
Are you uncomfortable with revealing your own sexuality and fear that joining this organization may hinder your reputation? The G.S.L.B.A. is designed so that your sexual orientation is confidential. EVERYONE,
including straight people, is involved in this organization. Your own sexuality will never be asked of you, nor will you be forced to tell of it. Remember, as always, that is your own private business.
The G.S.L.B.A. is a community that welcomes people of all sexualities. Some people join the G.S.L.B.A to find comfort in knowing there are people like them on campus and have their support. Others are simply involved because they believe in equal rights and opportunities and are trying to take a stand for the homosexual and bisexual communities.
The G.S.L.B.A invites you to join and:
-Promote diversity and awareness of the gay, lesbian and bisexual lifestyles.
-Find comfort in joining a group that supports and accepts you regardless of your sexuality.
-Have fun in a group that promotes a good cause.
-Meet people in a setting that allows you to be yourself, no matter who you are.
The G.S.L.B.A. meets Tuesday nights at 7:30 p.m. in room 101 of the Wakehurst Student Center. Come join the fun, promote a good cause, and EAT FREE PIZZA!
