SRU Dance presented its fall performance “Blame it On the Boogie”on Nov. 21,2009 and Nov. 22, 2009. SRU Dance is one of the largest clubs on campus and has more than 100 performers. “Blame it On the Boogie” had 26 dances and featured a special tribute to Michael Jackson.

The Salve Regina men’s basketball team played their first game on Nov. 16, 2009 against Albertus Magnus, losing in a heartbreakig 73-72 final score. “Our kids played very hard against Albertus Magnus,” said Sean Foster, coach for the basketball team. “Albertus did a great job making plays both on the defensive and offensive end.

The highly anticipated Rent-a-Rugger event commenced in Salve Regina’s Bazarsky Hall on October 23, 2009. About a hundred students attended the exciting outing, and much laughter ensued upon the fun and humorous show that the talented sports team presented for them.
