Life is slowly returning to normal for senior Kimberly Mallozzi after a long break she hadn’t expected last semester.

Mallozzi, an English Communications major, was walking home about 1:30 a.m. with some friends on Nov. 22 when she was hit, crossing the intersection of Dearborn and Thames Streets, by the Nissan SUV of off-duty Newport police officer Jeffrey L. Clark.

On Monday, Mar. 1, Senator Jack Reed told Salve students now that the United States is in Iraq that the U.S. is committed to staying for as long as the rebuilding process takes. His speech was entitled “Bush Foreign Policy: Real Threats but Ideological Responses.”

If you are not yet aware of the benefits of exercise in your life, you may have been living under a rock for the past couple of years. With all the information available to a person about exercise, there is almost always one key piece of information missing: the importance of stretching incorporated into a workout.

Normal summer activities for college students usually include having a job, going to the beach or taking a road trip. For a politically minded student like Laura Cancellieri, however, this summer involved volunteering two Saturdays in July canvassing the Manchester, N.H., area, passing out information and taking surveys for the “John Kerry for President” campaign.
