We have all seen it coming. We see the commercials, the decorations that smother the stores, and all the sales and promises of “buy four get one free” gifts. Let’s face it – the holiday season is here. Whether or not you get goose bumps at the sight of Christmas lights, or cringe and start to feel the anxiety rise and get to your spirit.

Is one of your biggest dreams to travel? Imagine studying abroad in Italy, Australia, England, and Ireland, the most popular places students will be studying abroad next semester. Salve Regina’s University Study Abroad Department is currently offering a spring break trip to Cuba for three credits and summer programs in Rome, Mexico, France, and a new addition, Greece for six credits.

The students in Jayme Hennessy’s Foundations of Moral Thinking class weren’t angry that MTV camera crews were there following Emeline Walker on Nov. 12. They just all wanted to sit next to her.

This past Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 6 p.m. about 40 people, including both old and new residents and guests attended a Thanksgiving dinner hosted by the Seaview Resident Assistants.

Late in October, the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) stated that they might need to cut service to meet budget short falls. The initial proposal to RIPTA’s board of directors would cut service after 9 p.m. on weekdays, after 7 p.m. on weekends, wipe out holiday service, and eliminate the summer service from the cities to the beaches.
