O’Hare clears the way for the Great Smokeout

To promote tobacco-free lives, Health Services is offering information and activities on smoking cessation this Thursday, Nov. 20, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in O’Hare. It’s all part of the Great American Smokeout, an annual event sponsored by the American Cancer Society that challenges smokers to stop using tobacco for one day and to help them find effective ways to quit for good.

Cross-Country Finishes the Season with a Bang

Salve Women’s Cross-Country Team had the longest season out off all the fall sports teams this year. They arrived for preseason on Aug. 17, 2003, and finished their season Nov. 15, 2003. This year’s team consisted of six freshmen, four sophomores, four juniors, and three seniors. The team welcomed a new coach, Scott Hutchinson, the former Babson Cross-Country Coach.
