Rome, Italy – Amazed, frantic, excited, overwhelmed. This pretty much sums up the emotional rollercoaster I have experienced since arriving in the ancient city of Rome just over two weeks ago.

Anyone who has ever studied abroad is most likely to tell you that it was one of the best experiences of their entire life.

As I walked into the art gallery of the Antone Center to see the exhibit “New Work: Drawings and Paintings” by Jenny Maloney, I was instantly intrigued by her work. Maloney is an artist and professor at Adelphi University. She has previously taught at the Rhode Island School of Design and the New York Institute of Technology.

Autumn is officially upon us and the temperature will soon be dropping as quickly as the leaves are. The remains of summer air can still be felt outside, but by the end of this month it will be time to break out those sweaters and Ugg boots! Popular colors for this fall are red, purple, winter white, and anything bright.

The 2008 football season for the Salve Regina Seahawks began Sept. 13 in a clash with the SUNY Maritime Privateers. At halftime, the Seahawks were winning 27-0 and the home crowd was ecstatic over the excellent performances by quarterback Jeff St. Onge and other players, such as Ben Hall and Jason Giordano.
