Nothing seems to ever come close to the tire size, perfectly thin pies served daily through out New York City. You know, the Brooklyn style, with extra gooey slices that spew the melted mozzarella all over the paper plate with the perfect blend of Oregano and secret mouth-watering tomato sauce.

Tucked between two buildings and down four cement steps is the cozy restaurant, Pick Pockets located on 190 Thames Street, Newport, Rhode Island. It is such a quaint little international food shop with homey-yellow walls to coincide with the friendly atmosphere.

Recently, I have not welcomed my emotions. I have become silent and turned back into my shy, introverted self. I call it crawling inside of myself to protect the pain I find in my heart. I am the type of person who finds everything beautiful and cannot see the worthlessness in anyone or anything.

It is exactly 5:42 p.m. on a Wednesday night and I have anxiously been awaiting the next episode of “America’s Next Top Model” (followed by the “PCD Search” and the ever-popular “Real World”). Why? I haven’t the slightest clue, except that for some reason, I have become fixated on reality television.

Simply type in a user name and password and the world of Facebook.com unfolds, and you’re immediately informed of who wrote on whose wall, who added new photos, who is attending what event, and much more.
