Sophomore room draw is only a week away.

Lottery times are out, and every few minutes, groups of students trickle over to the Office of Residential Life to view maps of campus housing. They are hoping and searching for the perfect single, double, triple, quad, or quintet, as the case may be.

Today I experienced what it felt like to drive drunk in one of the University’s parking lots. As part of Well Fest, Salve held “Fatal Vision” on April 10, 2006 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students were given the opportunity to wear goggles making them feel as though they had as many as six drinks, and drive through a course set up in Rodgers parking lot.

Campaign posters will soon disappear and the student executive ballots will soon be calculated, but the Salve spirit was alive and hopeful at the first ever Student Government Association Debate on Tuesday night.

The debate was hosted in the Bazarsky Lecture Hall and allowed the 2006-2007 executive board candidates a final opportunity to voice their intentions, goals, and agendas for office.
