Pulled from the pages of an Eddie Bauer catalogue, sporting a familiar cable knit sweater, a man no more than 35 years old, wanders in for a quick bite to eat, something he does on a regular basis.

On Thursday, April 28, the Salve Regina Business department is hosting a unique event for students and the Newport community. In O’Hare, students will get a chance to mingle with key players in the sports world. An agent representing Major League Baseball, as well as, representatives from the Boston Red Sox, the Boston Bruins and NBC sports are among the participants in a panel discussion on a variety of issues.

After graduating from high school, young adults can choose from all different kinds of colleges. There are small schools, big universities, private colleges, religious colleges and many more. Wherever students choose to enroll, one thing is certain: they are the sole creators of their own, unique college experience.

Comedian Steve Caouette performed for over 100 students in Bazarsky Hall Tuesday night, in an hour and a half of sidesplitting laughter.

Caouttte began by getting familiar with the audience asking where they lived. One brave male student from Maine raised his hand and unexpectedly became Caouette’s target for the rest of the night.
