With spring break quickly approaching, college students are thinking more about beaches, tan lines and more fun in the sun than what’s happening on Salve’s campus. With a little over a week left until the bathing suits come out, there is still much to be seen and done on campus.

Being back at school can be a breeze or a bummer. Fresh from holiday vacations and New Year’s Eve parties, you might be ready to sail through to your next year or you might be cramming to graduate on time. Either way, make some resolutions this year that’ll put a new spin on your semester.

In America’s oldest library there are tall, olive green wooden shelves that line the walls holding hundreds of ancient leather bound books, preserved gently with ribbons holding the delicate bindings together.

Starbucks. Dunkin’ Donuts. Panera Bread. These coffee shop chains are household names. But what about Ocean Coffee Roasters, Roba Dulce, or The Steaming Bean? These, you may not have heard of, but you soon will. Some, like Ocean Coffee Roasters, have been around for years.

Most college students do not have a great deal of free time. Many are in demanding majors which require long hours dedicated to completing school assignments. While others are experiencing the “poor college student syndrome” and need to spend their free time making extra cash, working at a part time job.
