So, maybe Coddington’s doesn’t have a big ol’ lasso out front playing the part of a Texan Steakhouse. The salt and pepper shakers aren’t cowboy boots. Old rifles and pictures of Annie Oakley don’t adorn the walls. But, don’t be so quick as to pass Coddington’s up and head to an authentic Southern steakhouse the next time you are in the mood for a steak and potato dinner.

In these post-war days, an epidemic of troubled minds is spreading among American citizens. People are concerned about the status of our nation in the hands of a leader who brought us into a highly controversial war. Many people are certain that George W. Bush is not the man for the job anymore.

Congruently, the general consensus from college students in the northeast is that they don’t like Bush and they want to take his power away however they can.

Jay Hansen, a nationally known singer and songwriter, will perform at Salve in the Wakehurst Commuter Lounge on Wednesday, February 11, at 8:00 p.m. Hansen’s music has appeared on Dawson’s Creek and on various MTV programs.

Work-study students at Salve have a little more cash in their pockets this semester, thanks to a rise in the minimum wage in Rhode Island that went into effect on January 1. The former minimum wage, $6.15 per hour, was raised by sixty cents to $6. 75 per hour.
