Imagine a gaggle of Salve students bundled in their North Face fleeces with hats and gloves, traipsing through the Rodgers lot to make their way into Wakehurst. The wind nips through every piece of their clothing and whips open the front door. Inside it’s not so cold.

Students that trudged through the snow and cold on Tuesday, Jan. 25 were rewarded with an evening of laughter. Comedian Leonard Robinson performed in the DiStefano Lecture Hall as part of this semester’s CAB Comedy series. The night was filled with random jokes including topics on Facebook, racism, Lady Gaga and dating.

One of the greatest accomplishments an author of fiction can achieve is creating characters that feel so real that readers can come to love them as if they were real people. Author Charlaine Harris has accomplished this feat with her Sookie Stackhouse novels, a series that inspired the popular HBO Show True Blood.
