Newport, R.I. – The Salve Regina University chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) needs your help. In an effort to increase the number of registered organ donors within the United States, the Salve AMA members have joined together with over 250 other collegiate AMA chapters throughout the nation to support a two-year, government funded project known as AMA Saves Lives.

Newport, R.I. – After four successful years of French cinema and an outstanding turnout last spring, the Tournees French Film Festival, hosted by Salve Regina University, will once again return to Newport this March. As always, this spectacular event is free and open to the public, featuring six recent award-winning films of varying genres from lustful romance to the rediscovery of life.

From the first years of our lives, we’ve witnessed it, fallen victim to it or participated in it. As we got older, we thought it would remedy itself; it didn’t always. Bullying has always been an issue among school-age children, only now it transcends beyond the boundaries of playgrounds and school corridors.

That special day of the year is coming, and no, it is not Christmas. For most people associated with films, it’s even better. It’s the day where hordes of lucky patrons wearing extravagant evening wear attend the event that reigns as an epitome of high society and associates itself with many big names in Hollywood.
