Now that fall semester is in full swing, it can become more of a challenge to keep track of all of the exciting fall events going on at Salve Regina. To help you all out, Mosaic has made a list of five Campus Activities Board events that you should put on your October calendar!
- Comedian: Need a good laugh to get you through midterm exams? Seaton Smith will be entertaining students from 8 p.m.-10 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 15. Students can also enter for a chance to win a prize at the end of the show.
- Friday Night Live: Halloween Party- Throw on your best costume and head over to Ochre Court for a wild night of Halloween fun! A favorite event among Salve Regina students, the Halloween dance is one of the most anticipated events of fall semester. From 9 p.m.-1 a.m., students can break it down with their friends, or eat a Halloween treat in the Ochre Court library. Tickets go on sale in the Student Activities Office on Oct. 15 at 8:30 a.m. Don’t procrastinate on this one, there are only 400 tickets and they sell out FAST!
- CAB Travel- Salem Mass.: Looking to get off Aquidneck Island for a day? This is your opportunity! The CAB travel committee has organized a full day of fun in New England’s favorite Halloween town: Salem, Massachusetts. Students can purchase tickets for $10 in the Student Activities office starting Oct. 16.
- Spotlight: Mohammed Bilal- On Wednesday, Oct. 30, former “The Real World: San Francisico” cast member, Mohammed Bilal, will discuss “12 Steps to Appreciating Diversity” from 7 p.m.-9 p.m. in Bazarsky. All students who attend will be entered in a raffle for a giveaway at the end of the event.
- Things for Thursday- Candy Apples and Cider: Take a break from class and stop by the Wakehurst Student Center for a special Halloween treat! From 11 a.m.-3 p.m., students can make their own candy apple and sip on hot apple cider.
