NEWPORT, R.I. – The Mosaic, Salve Regina’s student newspaper, has announced its editorial staff for the 2006-2007 academic year.
Kerin Lazzaro ’07 and Jackie Sheridan ’07 have been selected as co-editors and will share oversight of both the paper and online editions. Both have served as staff writers and correspondents for the Mosaic.
“We want to make Mosaic a bigger resource for students, something they can grab to find out what is going on in the university community,” Lazzaro said. “We want Mosaic to cater to different tastes so there is something for every reader.”

The newspaper is still seeking sports reporters and editors. “We would like to encourage more people to write for Mosaic,” Sheridan said. “Hopefully we can expand our readership and get a greater base of students involved.”
Mosaic is published weekly throughout the semester. A member of the College Publisher network, its Web site is available at www.srumosaic.com. Feeds of a number of the newspaper’s stories also appear on My Salve.
