This week´s Senior of the Week is Jessica Murphy
This new addition to the Mosaic Online will be highlighting seniors at Salve Regina University who have had a positive impact on the Salve Regina community.
If you have any suggestions for questions you would like to be asked or seniors you would like to see interviewed please feel free to send a letter to the editor (located on the menu of the left side of your screen). Mosaic: Where are you from? Jessica: Coventry, CT. Mosaic: What is your major/minor? Jessica: I am majoring in biology and have a minor in chemistry. Mosaic: What are your plans for after graduation? Jessica: Right now I am applying to medical school. I also plan on doing some research and working more on my thesis that I am currently writing. Mosaic: What is your thesis about? Jessica: It has to do with economics and chemistry. Mosaic: What is something that you accomplished at Salve that you are proud of? Jessica: I’m a public relations coordinator for the Student Government Association. I feel that I am a part of something that has grown so much since freshman year. The same goes for the Willow Literary Journal. Mosaic: What will you miss most about Salve? Jessica: The people. I’ll miss all the different organizations and clubs. I’ll miss the university, and of course Newport is beautiful. Mosaic: Any advice for surviving college? Jessica: Don’t worry so much about grades. Worry about understanding the information and getting something out of the class.
