Mosaic’s Senior of the Week is Liz Rossi.

MOSAIC: Where are you from?

LIZ: Bristol, RI

MOSAIC: What is your major/minor?

LIZ: I am double majoring in theatre and secondary education

MOSAIC: How many plays have you been in at Salve?

LIZ: I have been in five plays at Salve. Two through stage fright and three “main stage shows.”

MOSAIC: Of all the characters you have played, which did you enjoy playing most and why?

LIZ: The last character I played in “baby with the bath water” was Nanny and she had to be my favorite. She was a crazy Mary Poppins. She was insane though she thought she was just the picture of perfection. Nanny gave me a chance to really act. I was able to embody a fun and humorous character, while using my own sense of humor.

MOSAIC: If you could take one aspect of Salve life with you when you graduate what would it be?

Liz: It would have to be the closeness of all my friends. From the ones I have known for four years to the ones I have only recently acted with. They are so supportive and fun. We laugh, we cry, we act stupid, and we always know that we have a shoulder to lean on. I love each and every one of them in a different way.

MOSAIC: Do you believe that some of the buildings on campus are haunted?

LIZ: Definitely! My friends saw the woman in Ochre Lodge four years ago. She sings opera and wears a white dress. They didn’t even realize it was a ghost. They were telling someone about this weird lady they saw and the person told them that they had heard a story about a ghost like that in there, (don’t be scared I think she’s probably a nice ghost).
