The Salve Regina University’s department of Theater and Dance is at it again. This time, they’ve back with the world’s longest-running musical, The Fantasticks, directed by Reggie Phoenix.
The play is about two neighboring families that trick their children into falling in love with one another. What happens afterwards is an entertaining mix of comedy, music and sincerity.
Sophomore Mariana Bracciale, Freshman Jake Fernandes, and Senior Morgan Grambo head the production through a colorful and creative, yet simple, set. Their characters beg the audience to join them in witnessing a story about love, magic and how a little hurt can sometimes be a good thing.
The Fantasticks will be showing at the Casino Theater April 3rd and 4th at 8 p.m., and April 5th at 2 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
Admission is $10 for general, $8 for military and seniors, and $5 for Salve Regina students.
Don’t miss a play that should be nothing short of ‘Fantastick’!
