President Obama is trying to promote a view of his foreign policy by making an unexpected visit to U.S. military forces in Afghanistan. According to ABC News, the President’s arrival in Kabul marks one year and two days since 30,000 more U.S. troops were committed to Afghanistan in a counteroffensive surge posed by the Obama Administration against all Taliban and Al-Qaeda elements in the country.

Thanksgiving is a holiday that, as an American with an appetite for fantastic food, I appreciate very much. It was recently suggested to me by a British man that the British celebrate Thanksgiving in thanks that the Americans left.

Technology is changing the way we interact with people, and a new website is about to change that even more. Flirting as we know it is changing.

“Miley: Male, Black hair. looking sooo good,” reads part of a comment on the website likealittle.com. “…come and find me in hunt ;).

There is a relatively new club on campus, and although like most clubs it encourages members to have fun and form close bonds, it is on a very serious mission to change the world for the better. The club is Love146, based on the organization of the same name, and its sole purpose is to end sex trafficking, a major issue that is very prevalent and should be acknowledged and addressed.

Look around your dorm room, your house or a relative’s house and you may find stray buttons, beads, old clothes, old curtains and numerous other random odds-and-ends. Instead of this “junk” lying in drawers and closets, it can be put to good use.
