Newport, R.I. – The Salve Regina University chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA) needs your help. In an effort to increase the number of registered organ donors within the United States, the Salve AMA members have joined together with over 250 other collegiate AMA chapters throughout the nation to support a two-year, government funded project known as AMA Saves Lives.

Newport, R.I. – By now most of us are familiar with the name Glenna Kohl; a 2005 Salve graduate who passed away in 2008 after a three-year battle with stage III melanoma. Kohl was only 26 years old.

While her story has touched so many lives, far too many college students continue to visit the tanning beds everyday despite its deadly consequence.
