On Sept. 25, 2009 and Sept. 26, 2009, The Proposal, starring Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock, was shown in the DiStefano Lecture Hall and the Wakehurst Little Theater. This hilarious romantic comedy of Margaret Tate (Bullock), a cut-throat book editor, and her assistant, Andrew Paxton (Reynolds), is one that will keep you laughing the whole way through! Tate discovers that she is to be deported back to Canada due to an expired Visa, and as a result hoodwinks her assistant into marrying her so that she can keep her job.

Under the previous GI Bill, the Montgomery GI Bill, veterans were paid a reimbursement for student loans.

The Celtics returned to Salve Regina University for their annual training camp. The team worked hard all week, pushing their limits and adjusting to new players.

Eddie House, Celtic’s guard, discussed the level of intensity of this year’s camp. “Everybody’s pushing each other,” House said.
