Everyone warned me how fast it would all fly by, but I didn’t believe them. Now, one month shy of graduation, I find myself wondering…where did the time go? I remember embarking upon my college experience back in the fall of 2005, and it seemed like 2009 was unreachable, like chasing after the horizon.

‘Hey there Salve,’ this one’s for you. Plain White T’s, known for their smash single, “Hey There Delilah,” will perform at Salve on April 18, 2009.

Plain White T’s, with openers Single File and Danger Radio, will bring the “Three Part Harmony: A Show in Three Acts” headlining tour to Salve Regina University’s Rodgers Recreational Center in Newport, R.

“A Little Night Music” Hits High Notes

The crowd piled in and took their seats in the small, but intimate Megley Theatre as they waited for the large production of A Little Night Music. The cast of 20 controlled the stage from beginning to end, and the play was a complete success.

A Little Night Music is based on a book by Hugh Wheeler, and was adapted into musical form by Stephen Sondheim.

In 1997, Madeline Nugent had an idea for how she could help women in crisis pregnancies. Twelve years, several offices and a couple of states later, what began as a small idea is now helping women in crisis pregnancies on Aquidneck Island in a big way. Nugent, now a prominent member of the Board of Directors at her organization, gave a tour of the deceptively tiny, multi-operational building on Broadway that houses her brainchild.
