Upon a recent visit to a Halloween store, I stumbled upon something entirely sickening and horrendous-distastefully incomplete costumes targeted at young teenage girls. As many of these costumes are dresses, they tend to lack length and material specific to the chest area.

Autumn is officially upon us and the temperature will soon be dropping as quickly as the leaves are. The remains of summer air can still be felt outside, but by the end of this month it will be time to break out those sweaters and Ugg boots! As I walked into the art gallery of the Antone Center to see the exhibit “New Work: Drawings and Paintings” by Jenny Maloney, I was instantly intrigued by her work. Maloney is an artist and professor at Adelphi University. She has previously taught at the Rhode Island School of Design and the New York Institute of Technology.
