NEWPORT – Salve Regina University is kicking off another academic year with a more environment-conscious staff. The housekeeping department as well as the dining staff is coming up with new ways to conserve energy, food, water, and the use of unnecessary toxic chemicals.

Brace yourselves, green and white will be taking over Salve Regina University’s campus later this month.

NEWPORT – Firefighters rescued a severely injured woman from the rocky coastal edge below the steepest point of the Cliff Walk, nearest Salve Regina University’s Ochre Court building around 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11.

For the past three years members of the Business Department has incorporated service learning into their classes, community, and students. It’s where community service meets your major.
