The Salve Regina University women’s ice hockey team skated to a completely new level this season. While setting a school record for wins in a season with a record of 11-13-3, the Seahawks earned their highest seed ever in the ECAC Division III conference tournament.
The Firehouse Theatre on Equality Park Place in Newport was abuzz on Saturday, March 29, after the cast of “Two Celtic Comedies & a Ditty” performed to a packed (albeit small) house. Immediately after the cast took their bows and exited, the Bit Players took over.
Cheryl Lemenager spent her winter break re-reading every childhood book that was still in her Lynn, Mass., home. She did it because it made her happy. Lemenager said it has taken her 21 years to get here, but she’s happy. One might wonder how being a triple major and being happy can occur simultaneously.
All of us have dealt with the stress and anxiety that accompanies writing a 20-page paper the night before it is due. Despite all the stress and pressure to complete our work, especially as the semester winds down, we feel just as much stress to cease the grumbling in our stomachs at all times
of the day and night.
