Tucked between two buildings and down four cement steps is the cozy restaurant, Pick Pockets located on 190 Thames Street, Newport, Rhode Island. It is such a quaint little international food shop with homey-yellow walls to coincide with the friendly atmosphere.

NEWPORT – He begins with the “take two beers to tell” story of a nickname that has lasted a life time. Mansfield Lyon derived the nickname “Pro” back in the eighth grade. In junior high Lyon fell in love with the drums. Not having a drum at home he practiced on a wooden block as well as going once a week to practice at the high school.

Girls were sprinting in their least graceful strides with one leg in a leotard and the other limping along desperately trying to keep up with her show-off counterpart. This marked the fourth consecutive day of four hour rehearsals, hence the indifference of seeming less than poised.
