After singing his way through thirty states from California to Maine, Marc Mazzoni captured the audience of Salve Regina University’s CAB featured ‘coffee house’ night on Feb. 7 with his Cat Stevens-sounding voice to eleven original songs.

Walking into the Dutch renaissance inspired room, one instantly feels transformed to the ‘coffee house’ atmosphere.

Salve Regina University opened its doors for the fourth annual March into Reading on Saturday, Feb. 10 where author and illustrator workshops, book sales, signings student-led activities took place for area children.

Last Wednesday afternoon, SRU welcomed Boston University graduate, Megan Hart, who performed a monologue entitled, “The Thin Line” for an audience of students and faculty. In an hour-long monologue, Hart depicted the struggle of a young woman with an eating disorder, acting the parts of Ellen, her mother, best friend, and inner “negative voice.
