The road stretches beyond us as my twin and I drive toward the ocean. We let the music fill our cracked hearts. Another fight, another slammed door, another tear shed, and another dysfunctional family born. Kariana turns the volume up higher and we let the music seep through us because there are no words for our numbness and there is no destination for our tears, no other warm home to walk into, just each other, the road and the ocean waves.

Amidst the adrenaline of the show, some fans are protesting that Muslims are being exploited as the villains, causing some Muslim groups to remind us that not all of them are terrorists.

Salve Regina University’s department of business studies and economics sponsored “It’s more than a Game: Exploring Opportunities in the Business of Sports”, an event held Friday Feb. 9 in the O’Hare Academic Center in Bazarsky Lecture Hall and was open to all salve students.
