Newport, RI- It’s 1 a.m. Saturday morning, and RA Alison Phillbrick is struggling to keep her eyes open having finished all of her Spanish homework and waiting for the next hour to be over so she can finally go to bed. A loud bang from downstairs hints that the night is still young not only for her but for many of her fellow RAs.

She’s traveled the country studying the science of nursing and sharing it with others.

Sandra Solem has been a full time chair and distinct member of Salve Regina’s faculty since the fall of 2002. Since coming to Salve she’s immersed herself into the community and has taken her love and extensive knowledge of nursing to better the department.

PHILADELPHIA- This week, Eagles fans will put teeny green jerseys on newborns and drape championship banners on tombstones.

They will go into hock for big-screen TVs, serve peanuts in bowls shaped like helmets, and place giant inflatable quarterbacks on their lawns.

The website for the Office of Residential Life states that “A room or apartment is a student’s home while at Salve Regina University and students have the right to privacy in that space.”

The majority of the time, students agree that Residential Life does a good job of enforcing necessary policies and keeping privacy of the students a priority.
