Round Two For ‘It’s More than a Game’ Event

Salve Regina University’s department of business studies and economics sponsored “It’s more than a Game: Exploring Opportunities in the Business of Sports”, an event held Friday Feb. 9 in the O’Hare Academic Center in Bazarsky Lecture Hall and was open to all salve students.

The keynote speaker was Raymond Mey, a former FBI agent and Salve Regina parent. Other speakers included Jayne Mullen-Samson, VP of Marketing for FLOORGraphics Inc., Mary Ellen Curren, a Sports Marketing Consultant, and Michael Thibault, head coach of the Connecticut Sun.

The Keynote address highlighted Mey’s lifelong passion for sports and how he incorporated it into his 22 years of service at the FBI.
