Thanks to A-list celebs and fashion trendsetters, the Europeans, cowboy (or cowgirl) boots are no longer reserved strictly for the sticks of the South.

The love affair with the old American cowboy which is forever ingrained in our hearts and our culture continues on in the 21st century and the fall of 2005.

Originally a working man’s boot developed to make riding and working safer, the western cowboy boots have come a long way, baby.

Far from home on the range, chaps and spurs, and even farther from the rodeo circuit, western inspired cowgirl boots are haute, fun, feminine, flirty and sexy.

Take your pick at a stiletto heal or the classic one inch heal, square toe or pointed toe, low rise or tall or even fringed or buckled. You can even design your very own pair of customized cowgirl boots online. Choose from the bottom up from the heal, to the toe, to the color, to the top and to the stitch pattern.

This year, cowgirl boots are being shown with short denim skirts, babydoll cami’s and cropped velvet jackets, and paired with large western inspired silver and turquoise belt buckles. They’re also being shown with fun, flirty multi-tiered skirts, sexy lace tees, short denim jackets, and of course, blue jeans of any kind.

After strutting her stuff on the set of her movie “Dukes of Hazzard” in cowboy boots, daisy dukes, and a western style blouse, Jessica Simpson gave a whole meaning to sexy.

Fellow celebrities like Paris Hilton, Mary Kate Olsen, Kate Moss and Sienna Miller have helped reignite this haute trend for the fall. They all have been seen strutting around L.A., New York or London in fun, flirty and feminine cowgirl boots.

To grab this fall’s hottest trend, look for oldies, but goodies like Frye, Dingo, Acme, Zodiac and Capezio.
