Extended hours at the McKillop Library, large cups of coffee and overtired students are all signs of final exams at Salve Regina University. VIRGO (Volunteers Interested in Reaching Out and Guiding Others) hosted stress busters in Miley Hall on Monday, May 3, from 10 p.m. to midnight to help students de-stress during this very stressful week.

The stress busters included such events as chair massages, tarot card readings, games and crafts. Food items served included pizza, ice cream, nachos and subs and the cost was only $1 or a non-perishable food item.

VIRGO has also sponsored such past events as the annual V-Day, or a world wide initiative on college campuses to eliminate violence against women.

VIRGO is a peer education program that sponsors campus programs of pertinent social, physical and emotional health issues.
