‘Dine Out at Newport Restaurant Week’

This year the Newport County Convention & Visitors Bureau will hold the first annual Newport Restaurant Week from Nov. 6 to Nov. 12. Over 40 restaurants in Newport County will offer three course dinners for only $29.39.

Participating restaurants include Cafe Zelda, O’Brien’s Pub, The Black Pearl, H20 & The Water Lounge Bar, White Horse Tavern and many more.

‘Things for Thursday’

Stop by the Wakehurst lobby from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This week’s theme is pumpkin gourd decorating, hot apple cider and pumpkin pie.

Benefit concert for Save the Bay

Music from Carolyn McDade and the O Beautiful Gaia singers along with author Deborah Cramer reading from her book “Great Waters.” All proceeds from a free will offering will benefit Save the Bay.
